Welcome!
Who do you follow, why do you follow them and what do they actually look like? Chances are that you have probably passed by some of your followers on Brentwood High Street and not even known.
@brentwoodtwtup aims to change that and give you a chance to put faces to names holding a #brentwoodtweetup at the Eagle & Child, Chelmsford Road, Brentwood.
In our inaugural tweetup, sponsored by the Gazette, we focused on a social meet and greet but were treated to @laurie_edmonds, who helped organise the tweetup, address us with 'five reason why Twitter matters to Brentwood'. She said "Whether it's the local politicians getting people closer to democracy, the press keeping us informed, business networking or people sharing views and opinions, Twitter is bringing Brentwood closer together."
Our #brentwoodtweetups will occur on the first Wednesday of every month. We will keep you informed here on the theme for the evening and why not let us know what you would like to happen at the next tweetup.
We look forward to seeing you!
